Job Description

Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Intern to join our growing team in Syracuse, NY . This is an opportunity for a paid internship in Syracuse, NY where participants will learn about career potential in the insurance industry. Interns will gain understanding about insurance brokerage, and what operations on the brokerage side look like. In addition, you will gain a general understanding of Brown & Brown's unique culture, along with our mission and values as an organization. You will also develop some key skills that will benefit you in any future office setting and career journey.
How You Will Contribute:
Execute assigned projects and tasks with detail and high quality, while meeting all deadline expectations. Gain experience in their assigned department through networking and job shadowing. Explore other areas of interest to include learning more about the facets of the company, both within and outside of the assigned department. Additional duties as assigned. Skills & Experience to
Be Successful:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary course of study, preferably in the field of Risk Management, Insurance or Business Administration. Self-Direction

  • Communicates clearly and accurately using written, verbal and electronic methods. Pay Range $16
  • $18 Hourly The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
