The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating engaging social media platform posts, assisting with content creation, and capturing on-site content. The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, self-starter with a high level of creativity and attention to detail. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Creates content on all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, X, TikTok, etc.) including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement and promoting social media campaigns Captures and analyzes appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices Manages and moderates online community content in accordance with platform regulations and company standards Conducts reviews of social media and related communications metrics and analytics in order to brainstorm ideas to improve content for the department's primary social media channels Creates and syncs calendar events with social media Monitors and evaluates the company's social media presence on all social media platforms Works with a wide range of media and uses Adobe Creative Cloud Creates, attends, and monitors onsite facility employee, vendor, and customer events; traveling and weekend availability may be required, including travel to other company locations to capture photo and video content. Creates video and photo content Follows all safety policies and procedures Other duties as assigned

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience or familiarity with social media platforms through internships, coursework, personal projects, certifications, or other hands-on experience preferred.
