Job Description
Position Summary:
This position involves day-to-day responsibilities that require independent judgment and discretion, contributing to the department's ongoing success.Essential Functions & Basic Duties:

Obtain necessary census and historical data for bid process; develop knowledge of carriers and products offered; proof proposals for accuracy Collaborate with account executive regarding the implementation of new lines of coverage and carrier changes; ensure smooth launch/transition and make recommendations based on evaluation Complete new/renewal business paperwork and internal documentation Prepare benefit guides, brochures, employee announcements, communication pieces, etc. Implement online benefits support tools (i.e., Employee Navigator) Proof plan summary booklets and contracts for accuracy; report inaccuracies to the carrier(s) for correction Collaborate with account executives in organizing and/or conduction open enrollment meetings up on request Coordinate training of new hires in SterlingRisk processes (i.e. Epic, Zywave, Group Department systems, BenefitsGuide, etc.) Epic Maintenance including setting up electronic files along with ongoing filing and documentation of client meetings/issues/decisions Plan, prioritize and complete day-to-day workload including new business, renewal business and service responsibilities for the clients assigned. Ensure internal and external deadlines are met Attend onsite and offsite client meetings as necessary Prepare new business/ lost business notifications internally and externally Process terminations and enrollments, and follow up with the insurance carriers for confirmations Resolve client related issues (I.e., billing and claim issues) Investigate commissions issues when necessary Conduct all business in accordance with established policies and procedures Oversight and implementation as lead with Portal products/system, on behalf of our clients Overseeing the design, content, and preparation of custom benefit guides on behalf of our client.Supervisory Duties:

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $66,500 - $68,000 annually, plus benefits, and can vary based on location. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty and training. The hiring range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
