Job Description

Love's College Intern Program The Love's college internship program is frequently referred to as the best in Oklahoma City. This rapidly growing program provides opportunities for students in multiple areas of the business to receive employee level experience, not just busy work. Students also gain valuable knowledge that they can't get in a classroom; they are guided through proper etiquette of a professional corporate setting. With a high percentage of full time offers, Love's takes the time to invest not only in the students, but in their future. BASIC PURPOSE
The Compensation Intern provides support to the Total Rewards team by assisting with compensation analyses, market research, survey participation, reporting, and administrative projects. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in compensation and human resources while developing analytical, business, and communication skills. The intern will work closely with Compensation team members and business partners to support projects that contribute to competitive and equitable pay practices across the organization.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with data collection, validation, and organization for compensation projects and initiatives. Support participation in compensation surveys by gathering information, reviewing data, and assisting with survey submissions. Conduct basic market research and assist in compiling external compensation data for analysis. Support annual compensation processes by helping organize data, perform quality checks, and maintain documentation. Assist with compensation audits and data review activities to help ensure accuracy and compliance. Help maintain compensation records, procedures, and project documentation. Learn compensation fundamentals including market pricing, job evaluation, pay structures, incentive programs, and regulatory requirements. Partner with Compensation team members on special projects related to job architecture, career pathing, compensation programs, and data analytics. Attend team meetings, training sessions, and development activities to gain exposure to Total Rewards practices and strategies. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Experience Previous internship, campus leadership, analytical coursework, or work experience is preferred but not required. Demonstrated interest in Human Resources, Compensation, Analytics, Finance, or Total Rewards is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
