Reports To:
CFO Position Summary First Call Home Health is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Administrator to manage employee benefits and serve as a key resource for employees throughout the benefits process. This position will be responsible for benefits administration, new hire benefits education, employee support, maintaining accurate records, and analyzing benefits data to help support company decisions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Benefits Administration Manage day-to-day administration of employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and other company-sponsored benefits. Maintain accurate employee benefits information in Employee Navigator and Paylocity. Process benefit enrollments, changes, qualifying life events, and terminations. Assist with annual open enrollment and ensure employees complete required elections and documentation. Monitor benefit eligibility and ensure employees are enrolled correctly. Work with insurance carriers and benefit vendors to resolve enrollment and billing issues. Maintain accurate benefits records and documentation. New Hire & Employee Support Walk new employees through available benefit options and explain coverage, costs, eligibility, and enrollment processes. Serve as a resource for employees with questions about their benefits. Assist employees with qualifying life events and benefit changes. Provide clear and timely communication regarding benefits, enrollment deadlines, and changes. Help employees understand how to access and use their benefits. Benefits Analysis & Reporting Analyze benefits data, enrollment trends, participation, and costs. Prepare reports and summaries for leadership and HR. Identify trends and opportunities to improve benefits offerings and employee participation. Assist with comparing benefit plans, costs, and utilization. Support annual benefits renewal and plan evaluation. Review benefits invoices and identify discrepancies or billing issues. Compliance & Administration Maintain benefits records in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Assist with required benefits notices, documentation, and compliance requirements. Maintain confidentiality of employee information. Stay informed of changes in benefits regulations and industry practices. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role. Experience using Employee Navigator and Paylocity preferred Strong understanding of employee benefits and enrollment processes. Experience conducting benefits analysis and preparing reports. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to explain benefits information clearly to employees with varying levels of knowledge. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Healthcare or home health experience is a plus. Preferred Skills Experience supporting open enrollment. Experience working directly with insurance carriers and benefit brokers. Strong Excel and data analysis skills. Experience reviewing benefits costs and utilization. Knowledge of HR compliance and benefits regulations.
