Job Description

Summary The Hess Agency is looking for an energetic, customer-focused professional to sell, cross-sell, and service individual and group health insurance products including Medicare. You must be a licensed health insurance agent to qualify for PENNIE and Medicare certification. It is also beneficial but is not required to be familiar with Erie and/or Applied Epic. Conduct market research and analyze insurance products to provide clients with the best coverage options
Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend suitable policies
Explain policy details, terms, and conditions to clients in a clear and understandable manner
Process insurance applications and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete
Provide ongoing customer service to clients, including policy updates, claims assistance, and billing inquiries
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations Requirements
Experience, preferably in health insurance sales and Medicare and Individual products preferred
Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to handle sensitive client information confidentially
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
Valid Life and Health License (Must Have)
