Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support compensation programs and workforce planning initiatives for a leading organization within a dynamic corporate environment. The Compensation Analyst role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in salary benchmarking, compensation analysis, and market data evaluation to support competitive and equitable pay practices. This a hybrid role that requires two days a week onsite in Greensboro, NC. Responsibilities of the
Compensation Analyst:
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market pricing analyses using compensation survey data and industry resources.
  • Utilize PayScale and other compensation tools to evaluate pay competitiveness and provide market insights.
  • Analyze compensation data to support salary recommendations, annual compensation reviews, and job evaluations.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and compensation models using advanced Excel functionality.
  • Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to ensure compensation programs align with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain compensation data integrity and assist with audits, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide analytical support for compensation projects, workforce planning, and total rewards initiatives.
Qualifications of the
Compensation Analyst:
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis
  • Hands-on experience with salary benchmarking and market pricing methodologies.
  • Experience utilizing PayScale or similar compensation survey and benchmarking platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Compensation for the Compensation Analyst includes:
Salary:
$80,000 - $82,000/Annually
