Enrollment Specialist / Technical Assistant In this role you'll be a key part of our Employee Benefits client management team by handling administration, carrier communications, data management, and other service tasks. If you enjoy consistently following processes, are organized and detail-oriented, and excel at providing exceptional service, keep reading! Compensation & Benefits for this role include: Hourly pay or Salary based on experience Full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Life, Disability, FSA/HSA, 401k match, generous PTO plan and company holiday schedule) To be successful in this role you'll need to have: At least 1 year of employee benefits experience preferred Basic understanding of plans including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability Organizational skill and detail-oriented personality Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines Ability to use computers and software: prior experience with Applied Epic, Employee Navigator, and EB carrier portals is a BIG plus, but not required. In this role you'll be expected to: Process employee enrollments, changes, and terminations with insurance carriers Troubleshoot benefit administration system and carrier integration issues Process COBRA notices and qualifying events with third-party vendors Submit, track, and provide status updates on disability claims Maintain accurate client and employee information in the system Update employee communication and enrollment materials Help with carrier service requests and administrative issues Update and maintain Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and related documents Provide backup to the Client Management team as needed Why do you want to be at Highstreet Insurance?
