The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for the administration, analysis, and support of payroll and Team Member benefits for AISIN World Corp of America and FT Techno of America. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and maintenance of the HRIS system. The specialist serves as a subject matter expert for payroll, timekeeping, tax, and benefits processes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements. Position Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position: Payroll Administration Process and audit multi-state payrolls using ADP Enterprise HR.

Ensure accurate calculation of earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, shift premiums, bonuses, and special payments.

Review payroll validation reports and investigate discrepancies prior to payroll transmission.

Manage year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing and reconciliation. Benefits Administration Administer Team Member benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, family medical leave, retirement, HSA, and wellness programs.

Audit benefit deductions and eligibility to ensure accuracy between benefits and payroll systems.

Assist with annual enrollment planning, testing, and communications.

Support wellness incentive and benefit-related payroll processes. HRIS and Systems Support Maintain employee data within HRIS system.

Participate in system implementations, enhancements, and user acceptance testing activities.

Support integration testing and troubleshooting with internal IT teams and third-party vendors. Compliance and Reporting Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations.

Support audits related to payroll taxes, benefit plans, retirement programs, and internal controls.

Prepare and analyze payroll, benefits, tax, and timekeeping reports.

Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll, benefits, and personal information.

Assist with regulatory reporting requirements and employee communications. Team Member Relations Respond to Team Member and management inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, deductions, timekeeping, and benefits.

Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and operational leaders.

Provide training to Team members when new hired, promoted, etc. on system functionality. Other tasks and duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities

Essential Skills and Experience:

3-5 years of payroll and benefits administration experience.

Experience supporting multi-state payroll operations.

Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxation, and benefit administration.

Understanding of federal and state employment laws and payroll regulations.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Beneficial Skills and Experience Experience with ADP payroll systems preferred.

Experience with workforce management, HRIS, and benefits administration systems preferred. Education/Training/Certifications Bachelor's degree preferred.

Travel Requirements Approximately 5 %.

Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs. Work Environment Requirements

Hybrid work environment, in office at least 3 days per week. Attendance/Work Hour Requirements Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.

Must be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.

Occasional after-hours support during payroll processing cycles, year-end activities, system implementations, or benefit enrollment periods.
