Job Description

Pharmacy Benefits Specialist Location:

Salt Lake City, UT (100% Onsite)

Pay:

$21.00/hour - Will be bumped up $2-3 once converted to a full-time employee

Schedule:

Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM MST, plus occasional rotating Saturdays (8:00 AM-5:00 PM MST)

Eligible for a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) after 1 year based on performance About the Role We are seeking Pharmacy Benefits Specialists to join a growing healthcare services team. In this role, you will support members, providers, and employer groups by assisting with pharmacy benefit questions, processing pharmacy claims, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position combines call center support with pharmacy claims administration and offers strong opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities

+ Answer incoming calls from members, providers, and internal teams

+ Assist with pharmacy benefits, coverage questions, and claims resolution

+ Process pharmacy claims and maintain accurate documentation

+ Research and resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally

+ Educate customers on benefits, coverage, and plan guidelines

+ Navigate multiple systems while maintaining productivity and quality standards

+ Serve as a resource for teammates and assist with training and mentoring when needed Qualifications

+ Previous call center, healthcare customer service, insurance, pharmacy, or medical office experience

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer systems

+ Pharmacy Technician certification or prior pharmacy benefits experience is a plus but not required Why Apply?

Training:

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Murray, UT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
