ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE
Medix is currently seeking a Physician Compensation Analyst who has experience in auditing provider contracts for compliance. Our client is a large Healthcare Organization , bringing on this additional support as they embark on implementing a new Finance & Accounting Platform (Workday). This Physician Compensation Analyst will be reporting to a manager, and will be reviewing provider contracts to ensure the integrity, fairness, and accuracy of physician compensation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Physician Compensation Analyst, you will lead the preparation and analysis of provider contract proposals, including reviewing and auditing current agreements.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Contract Analysis:
Prepare background data for new and amended provider contracts, focusing on Fair Market Value (FMV) and Commercial Reasonableness.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as a bridge between internal departments and external resources to gather documentation and resolve complex contract queries.
Financial Oversight:
Process and approve network physician payments and audit contract payment implementations to ensure accuracy.
Strategic Support:
Assist the Manager of Physician Compliance and Internal Audit on special projects and process improvements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business discipline MBA or CPA certification
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
Business:
Must have prior experience reviewing legal or financial contracts.
Industry:
Must have 2+ years experience in Physician /
Healthcare Provider Compensation Tech Savvy:
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. You should be comfortable learning new IT tools (experience with Workday is a plus).
Analytical Mindset:
You can handle ambiguity, think critically, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
Communication:
