Are you an experienced compensation professional who enjoys both the strategic and hands-on aspects of compensation? Our client, a respected and mission-driven nonprofit organization in the Greater Seattle area, is seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to help shape, manage, and strengthen organization-wide compensation programs supporting both union-represented and non-union employees. What You'll Do Design, implement, administer, and continuously improve organization-wide compensation programs Conduct market pricing, salary benchmarking, and compensation analyses to support competitive and equitable pay practices Evaluate jobs and job descriptions to determine appropriate classifications, salary ranges, and compensation levels Analyze internal equity and provide recommendations related to compensation structures and pay practices Support compensation programs for both union-represented and non-union employees Partner with HR leadership and organizational stakeholders on compensation strategy and decision-making Support compensation compliance, including pay equity, wage transparency, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements Develop reports and analyses to support compensation decisions and serve as a subject matter expert on compensation-related questions and initiatives What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, including designing, implementing, administering, and maintaining organization-wide compensation programs Strong experience with market pricing, salary structures, job evaluation and classification, internal equity, and compensation analysis Experience supporting compensation programs within both union and non-union environments Advanced Excel and data analysis skills with the ability to analyze complex compensation data and translate findings into practical recommendations; HRIS experience preferred Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered Strong knowledge of compensation-related laws, regulations, pay equity, and wage transparency requirements
