ABOUT US
The Fogarty Center is a private, non-profit agency that provides a variety of services and supports to children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and/or other disabilities.
JOB PURPOSE
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for department and program managers, and employees regarding employee relations concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
o Gather relevant information related to the concern or issue presented. o Collaborate with the HR Director to develop an appropriate corrective action plan. o Implement the corrective action plan in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Administer Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes.
  • Administer workers' compensation claims.
  • Manage accounts receivable for voluntary deductions not processed through payroll, including situations when employees are on leave.
  • Prepare the bi-weekly payroll journal entry for the Finance Department.
  • Prepare, distribute, and monitor employee evaluation reports to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare and submit government reports related to Human Resources functions. o EEO-1 o OSHA 300, 300A, and 301
  • Complete annual Workforce Solutions reporting.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employment verification requests from outside sources.
  • Manage HRIS checklists, document creation, and distribution as needed.
  • Assist in any related duties given by the HR Director

The employee reports to work as scheduled, maintains reliable attendance, and completes assignments in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner. The employee demonstrates accountability and follows through on responsibilities.

The employee communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with supervisors, colleagues, employees, and external contacts. The employee builds constructive working relationships and professionally represents the Agency.
    Accuracy & Efficiency:
    The employee completes work accurately, efficiently, and within required timeframes. The employee demonstrates strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a consistent work ethic that supports departmental goals.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Associate's degree in business, human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
    • Minimum of two years of experience in grievance management, employee relations, or conflict resolution.
    • Experience working in the intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) field preferred.
    • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn training platforms and HRIS system functions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and organizational skills, with excellent punctuation, spelling, grammar, and attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professional, respectful working relationships.
