POSITION SUMMARY
Develops, coordinates and administers the worker's compensation program to ensure delivery of quality patient care.

Essential Functions Statement(s)Assists Physicians and employee(s) with worker's compensation patients and complex worker's compensation cases utilizing case management methods which facilitate employees return to maximum health and to workHelps patients and employees understand the worker's compensation process and implement any new worker's comp proceduresMaintains working relationships with external worker's compensation parties, businesses, and clinic physicians to assist in development and expanding of business plus resolves any complex worker's compensation concernsPrepares and maintains written case records, reports and forms, performs case follow-up, modifications and closingAvailable to assess and evaluate current progress and needs in order to develop a case management planPrepares and approves charts for impairment rating as neededProvides training for internal staff as neededRegular and predictable attendanceAbility to work in a cooperative manner with othersPerforms other duties as assignedCompetency Statement(s)Communication, Oral

SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation:
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred, or an equivalent of 4 or more years in related field preferred
Experience:
4 or more years of experience in related field required
Computer Skills:
Must be computer literate. Intermediate computer skills are required.
