The Benefits Administrator manages employee benefits and leave programs while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and excellent employee support. This position serves as the primary point of contact for benefits inquiries, leave administration, vendor coordination, and payroll-related benefit processing. Key Responsibilities Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits Assist employees with leave programs including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation claims, Americans with Disabilities Act and other programs. Conduct benefits presentations during new hire orientation Track leave eligibility, usage, and required documentation Coordinate return-to-work processes and communications Maintain accurate records of benefits data, handle confidential information with discretion, and support data collection for audits and reporting purposes. Collaborate with external vendors and internal departments to resolve issues related to health insurance, workers' compensation, and other benefit plans. Participate in training & development initiatives to stay current on HR systems, employment laws, and best practices in benefits administration. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in HR with direct experience in benefits administration Bilingual Knowledge of COBRA, FMLA, ADA and ACA reporting Basic knowledge of benefits and leave administration or ability to learn quickly Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications Join our team and play a key role in ensuring employees receive accurate, timely, and compliant benefits and leave support!
