What to Expect
The Subrogation Adjuster primarily reviews demands from other parties, files and responds to arbitration disputes, and may hear cases as needed. The role also may require the gathering and evaluating evidence, negotiating recoveries, processing payments and deductible reimbursements, maintaining accurate files and reports, and handling related inquiries while ensuring compliance with company guidelines, quality standards, and regulations. Degree or equivalent experience
Strongknowledgeofpersonallinesproducts,includingPropertyandCasualtyandpersonalumbrellaproducts
Familiaritywithproperty-relatedprinciples,practices,processes,andterminology
Knowledgeofarbitrationprocessesandprocedures
Proficiencyinbusinesswriting,grammar,punctuation,andprofessionaltelephoneandemailetiquette
Proficiencyinstandardbusinesssoftwareandweb-basedapplications,includingMicrosoftWord,Excel,Outlook,andinternetbrowsers
Property and Casualty (P&C) adjuster's license in the state of domicile, plus non-resident adjuster's licenses in all other states where required-or the ability to obtain them within 60 days of starting Compensation and Benefits
