Job Description
HCM, SAP
SuccessFactors, UltiPro, or ADP to process benefits data accurately and efficiently. Handle confidential information with integrity while managing employee inquiries regarding benefits options, eligibility, and claims processes through excellent communication skills. Conduct data collection and analysis to identify trends or issues in benefits utilization; prepare reports for management review. Collaborate with payroll teams using payroll systems like Lawson or Paylocity to ensure correct deductions and contributions are processed. Support employee orientation sessions by explaining benefit offerings and assisting with contract interpretation related to employment benefits. Assist in compliance audits related to workers' compensation, Medicare, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards. Negotiate with vendors for benefits services; manage contracts to optimize value while maintaining compliance standards. Provide training and development on benefits programs for HR staff and managers to ensure consistent understanding across the organization. Experience Proven experience in benefits administration within a human resources environment, ideally supporting large organizations or complex benefit plans. Strong knowledge of health insurance plans, workers' compensation policies, FMLA procedures, and employment & labor law regulations. Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, OracleHCM, SAP
SuccessFactors or UltiPro is essential; familiarity with payroll systems like Lawson or ADP is highly desirable. Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information into clear reports for decision-making purposes. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining compliance with HR legal standards such as HIPAA. Strong communication skills for effective employee engagement and vendor negotiations. Familiarity with HR systems (technically supported), including benefits administration modules and regulatory reporting tools like Kronos or Paylocity. Knowledge of recruiting processes and employee evaluation methods is a plus; experience in training & development related to HR programs is advantageous.
