Workers' Compensation Administrator Onsite - Vancouver, WA $35-$42 per hour depending on experience Temporary to hire opportunity The Workers' Compensation Administrator will oversee workers' compensation claims for a union construction workforce across multiple jurisdictions. This role serves as a primary contact for employees, supervisors, medical providers, claims administrators, insurance representatives, unions, and legal counsel. The position will also provide support to the Safety and Legal teams with compliance, investigations, documentation, and risk management activities. Responsibilities Workers' Compensation Administration Manage workers' compensation claims from injury reporting through closure. Coordinate with employees, supervisors, medical providers, adjusters, attorneys, unions, and third-party administrators. Ensure timely injury and occupational illness reporting and maintain accurate claim documentation. Monitor medical treatment, work restrictions, claim status, reserves, costs, and lost-time activity. Coordinate modified-duty and return-to-work programs. Assist with claim reviews, audits, hearings, mediations, and litigation matters. Ensure compliance with applicable workers' compensation regulations, union agreements, and company policies. Support workplace injury investigations and OSHA-related recordkeeping. Provide guidance to supervisors regarding workers' compensation procedures and documentation. Safety, Risk & Legal Support Organize claim files, medical records, photographs, witness statements, and investigation materials. Assist Safety and Legal with compliance tracking, records management, and regulatory or information requests. Support claim-related litigation and communication with legal counsel. Prepare reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and claim tracking materials. Monitor deadlines related to claims, legal matters, and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality of employee, medical, legal, and company information. Assist with union documentation, safety initiatives, training, risk management projects, and process improvements. Requirements 3+ years of experience in workers' compensation, claims, risk management, safety, HR, legal support, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Construction, industrial, or union environment experience preferred. Experience with return-to-work programs and working with claims administrators, adjusters, medical providers, or legal counsel preferred. Familiarity with multi-state workers' compensation and collective bargaining agreements is a plus.
