Benefit and Leave Specialist La Crosse, WI $25.00 - $29.38 hour What You'll Do Benefits Management Administer the corporate's benefit program, including but not limited to, health/dental/life insurance, long-term and short-term disability, retirement, FSAs and HSAs. Educate employees on benefit offerings through in person meetings, one-on-ones and virtual meetings. Develop and oversee Wellness program. Research and analyze benefit plans, programs and policies and make recommendations on the data analyses. Manage employee enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes for the corporation. Manage and monitor the Employee Assistance Program. Manage the company retirement plan. Compliance Management Manage day-to-day compliance including, but not limited to, OSHA, FMLA, WC, HIPAA, ACA, and Unemployment. Manage incident and injury reports and manage applicable Worker's Compensation and OSHA requirements. Review, determine eligibility, and provide approval for leave requests in accordance with compliance regulations. Schedule Full time, primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm however the position does require flexibility to meet the needs of the corporation. Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience CEBS certification preferred Participation in HR and Benefits professional development opportunities encouraged Experience in implementing and managing employee benefits and compliance with business goals in the areas of retention, employee development, and employee relations and compliance. Ability to collaborate with other departments and all levels of associates. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. Ability to effectively manage sensitive situations and confidential data. Strong ability to work with mathematical concepts and be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
