We're on the lookout for a Workers' Compensation Lost Time Adjuster to join our growing team! As a Workers' Compensation Lost Time Adjuster, you will manage a caseload of workers' compensation indemnity cases from inception to resolution while maintaining communication with clients, producers and employers via telephone and written correspondence. You will also manage a diary system to ensure timely benefit administration and superior claims management. Key Responsibilities Conduct and direct investigation to determine AOE/COE, including 24-hour 3-point contact to
EE, ER & MD
Establish initial reserves in a timely manner and maintain accurate reserves based on probable outcome on all claims Authorize appropriate medical care, issue timely indemnity benefits and manage all legal aspects of all claims Provide quality customer service to clients, producers, employers and injured workers Determine settlement value and resolution while moving all cases towards appropriate closure Other duties as assigned Skills, knowledge & expertise Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience California Workers' Compensation experience is required WCCA or WCCP designation preferred Self-Insured License preferred Multiple years' experience handling Workers' Compensation claims, including indemnity and legal claims Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Equal Employment Opportunity & Legal Notices Benefits At Davies North America, we are dedicated to supporting the well‑being and future of our qualifying employees.
