Orange County, CA A nationally recognized, Am Law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits practice in Orange County. This is a confidential search for a highly motivated attorney looking to work on sophisticated matters for public and private company clients in a collaborative, high-performing environment. About theRole:
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and clients on a wide range of executive compensation and benefits matters, including: Public company executive compensation and related disclosures Employee benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions Design and implementation of tax-qualified and nonqualified retirement plans Executive employment agreements and severance arrangements Equity and non-equity incentive compensation plans Attorneys in this group are given meaningful client exposure and are expected to take ownership of matters while working both independently and as part of a broader team.Ideal Candidate Profile:
6+ years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits Strong background working with public companies Experience advising on M&A and private equity transactions (benefits-related aspects) Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle complex matters Strong academic credentialsWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:
