Regional Benefits Manager Oxford Health Group | Los Angeles, CA $24-$32/hour | Full-Time | In Office Regional / Multi-Community Position Oxford Health Group is seeking an experienced Regional Benefits Manager to support residents and community teams across our senior living portfolio. We are looking for someone with experience navigating Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medi-Cal, Medicare, government-funded benefits, senior assistance programs, healthcare benefits, and resident financial resources . This is a regional position working closely with Business Office Managers, Social Services, community leadership, residents, and families to help identify and resolve benefit-related issues, monitor resident accounts, assist with Social Security adjustments, research discrepancies, and coordinate follow-up across multiple senior living communities. This is not a traditional Accounts Receivable Manager position. The ideal candidate brings experience with senior benefits, public benefits, government programs, healthcare benefits, social services, eligibility coordination, or benefits navigation along with strong organizational and account-reconciliation skills. What You'll Do Support residents and community teams with Social Security and benefit-related issues Assist with Social Security and SSI adjustments, changes, and follow-up Help identify and navigate applicable Medi-Cal, Medicare, and other government-funded or senior benefit programs Serve as a liaison between Business Office teams, Social Services, residents, families, and regional leadership Research resident account balances and identify benefit, billing, payment, or posting discrepancies Help resolve issues that may be preventing resident accounts from remaining current Monitor outstanding resident benefit and account issues across multiple communities Maintain organized documentation and tracking of open items and follow-up Provide regular updates on unresolved resident benefit and account matters Coordinate with community teams to obtain necessary information and documentation Escalate unresolved or higher-risk issues appropriately Assist with resident account discrepancies and write-off requests when necessary Support company reporting and regional projects related to resident benefits and accounts Travel to senior living communities occasionally as needed What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of related professional experience Experience with Social Security, SSI, Medi-Cal, Medicare, public benefits, government assistance programs, healthcare benefits, senior benefits, or social services Experience working with older adults, healthcare, senior living, assisted living, social services, or a related environment strongly preferred Understanding of benefit eligibility, documentation, follow-up, and government or community resources Experience working with resident or client accounts is helpful, but this is not solely an accounts receivable role Strong research, problem-solving, and follow-through skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to explain complicated benefit or account issues clearly and compassionately Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, community teams, and outside organizations Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred Valid driver's license and ability to travel to communities occasionally Experience That May Be a Strong Match We'd especially like to hear from candidates with backgrounds such as: Benefits Coordinator, Benefits Specialist, Public Benefits Specialist, Social Services Coordinator, Resident Benefits Coordinator, Eligibility Specialist, Benefits Case Manager, Medicare/Medi-Cal Coordinator, Social Security Benefits Specialist, Senior Services Coordinator, Healthcare Benefits Specialist, or Regional Benefits Manager.
