About the Role Nuro is seeking a talented Total Rewards Manager to shape our compensation and benefits strategy. This role is essential to designing competitive, equitable, and scalable reward programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent in a rapidly evolving industry. You will lead initiatives to create holistic reward systems that align with Nuro's mission while ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry best practices. About the Work In this role, you will report to Nuro's Head of Human Resources and be responsible for a wide range of activities that are crucial to building and scaling a best-in-class total rewards program: Design and implement competitive total rewards programs (compensation and benefits) to attract and retain top talent. Develop and manage salary structures, job leveling, and performance-based reward systems. Collaborate with HR and company leadership to ensure the rewards strategy aligns with overall business objectives. Lead benchmarking efforts to assess market trends and adjust programs accordingly. Oversee benefits administration and vendor management, ensuring a high-quality employee experience. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. Drive communications and education initiatives around compensation and benefits to ensure employee understanding and engagement. Manage the annual compensation review and equity planning process.
