Job Description

Social Vocational Services provide innovative services for individuals with developmental disabilities throughout California. These services include quality programs that enable those served to choose the lifestyle they judge to be of greatest value. We assist them in designing the service plan necessary for its achievement. SVS is looking for a motivated professional individual to serve as a Regional Director for the Napa area. Duties and Responsibilities Hire, supervise and train Program Directors. Maintain approved staffing ratios in Region Serve as Case Responsible Person (CRP) within the region Chair Regional Safety Committee Assure compliance within Region to all SVS policies and procedures Monitor on a regular basis regional compliance with CARF standards (if applicable) Monitor regional compliance with state regulations (Community Care Licensing) and funding agency (Regional Center) requirements Prepare and submit reports as required Develop and manage Consumer Advisory Group (to meet quarterly) Oversee local response to satisfaction surveys of stakeholders Prepare an annual SWOT analysis for assigned territory Prepare expenditure report and monitor expenditures Attend meetings internal and external to SVS as appropriate Conduct staff meetings on various administrative topics including job development In absence of assigned Program Director, assumes those job duties
Education and Work Experience:
Must be at least 21 years of age . Bachelor's Degree in a human service and five years experience (including 2 years management) in the field of developmental disabilities. Master's Degree preferred. $6,250.00 per month
