Job Description
We are seeking a Total Rewards/HR Benefits Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Valencia, CA within the medical devices and supplies industry. This role is ideal for a strategic, data-driven HR professional who brings deep expertise in compensation, benefits, wellness, recognition, HR analytics, and compliance. The Total Rewards/HR Benefits Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and play a key role in shaping programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence organizational growth, improve employee experience, and support business priorities through competitive and compliant Total Rewards programs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy aligned with business goals, talent strategy, and organizational growth.
- Lead compensation programs, including salary structures, job evaluations, market pricing, incentive planning, compensation modeling, and pay equity initiatives.
- Oversee employee benefits, retirement, wellness, leave, recognition programs, vendor management, annual renewals, open enrollment, and employee communications.
- Build and deliver Total Rewards analytics, workforce metrics, compensation reporting, executive dashboards, and data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation, benefits, retirement plans, leave programs, wage and hour requirements, and pay practices.
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to improve systems, processes, reporting, and employee experience. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $130,000 to $140,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead Total Rewards strategy across compensation, benefits, wellness, retirement, recognition, and employee rewards programs.
- Manage compensation planning, salary benchmarking, market pricing, pay equity analysis, and incentive program support.
- Oversee benefits administration, vendor partnerships, renewals, open enrollment, compliance, and employee communications.
- Develop HR analytics, workforce insights, executive reporting, and process improvements to support business decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Seven or more years of progressive Human Resources experience with significant responsibility in Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefits.
- Demonstrated expertise in compensation strategy, employee benefits administration, HR analytics, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience administering compensation programs, salary benchmarking, market pricing, and employee benefit plans in a regulated or complex business environment.
- Strong analytical, financial, project management, and business partnership skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and executive influencing abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, deadlines, and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work under tight timelines.
- Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making within HR and Total Rewards. Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CCP, CEBS, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent.
- Experience in medical device, life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience supporting California employment practices and multi-state operations.
- Experience implementing or optimizing HRIS and Total Rewards technology solutions.
