Job Description

Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", this position is responsible for creating a rewarding working environment for employees through the proficient use of benefits systems and execution of benefits processes. Accountable to the Director of Human Resources (HR), this role is also responsible for the coordination of all employee benefit offerings, supporting administrative actions related to document processing, reporting, billing, and coordinating with external vendors. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, effective time management, flexibility, empathy, sensitivity to confidential matters, and the ability to interact well with all levels of internal management and staff. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Director of Human Resources. Implement, administer, and communicate programs including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary programs, wellness, FSA, EAP, COBRA, 401(k)/pension, leave of absence, etc. Manage the Benefits team. Develop and maintain Benefits department budget. Oversee monthly premium billings. Lead Open Enrollment, including HR system administration, data accuracy of benefit information, event planning, program renewals, communications, benefits guide, etc. Oversee the implementation and administration of benefits programs. Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, insurers, and vendors to ensure timely customer service and accurate cost-effective plan administration. Ensure plan compliance with regulatory filings, notices, ACA mandates, plan audits, non-discrimination testing, etc. Identify strategies to improve employee communication, education regarding the benefit programs and ongoing marking of Benefits. Develop and implement progressive and innovative programs which promote employee health and wellness. Review and reconcile monthly pre-billing. Prepare file feeds working with carriers and ADP. Audit the accuracy and performance of functions performed by the Benefits staff. Complete HR projects in an accurate and timely manner. Identify strategies to improve employee health and wellness including monthly newsletters and annual health fair. Ensure benefits paperwork, files, notices, and reports are complying. Ensure accuracy of system data, billing, and plan information. Coordinate and promote wellness activities and programs. Research and evaluate company benefits to recommend improvements and new programs which strengthen the overall plan design. All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) required. A minimum of five (5) years of Benefits Administration experience is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience is preferred. Exposure and knowledge of HR Systems. Experience in project management and benefits system implementation. Experience with ADP Workforce Now Benefits system preferred. Must have a strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as written and oral communication skills.
