  • Full-time Sirius Staffing is seeking a strategic Compensation Manager who blends deep technical expertise with strong business partnership skills.
As Compensation Manager, you will serve as a strategic leader and subject matter expert responsible for developing, optimizing, and leading compensation programs across the organization. In this role, you will evolve compensation frameworks to attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring alignment with business objectives and the company's compensation philosophy. As a trusted advisor to the People Team and senior leadership, you will drive compensation strategy, lead complex initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver data-driven insights that support equitable and competitive pay practices. Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of compensation strategies aligned with business objectives and market dynamics. Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to advise on salary decisions, job leveling, promotions, and organizational design. Drive the development and execution of Career Ladder frameworks to support internal mobility, employee development, and engagement. Oversee job architecture, including job evaluation, leveling methodologies, and grade assignments. Manage the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, promotions, and market adjustments. Provide strategic guidance to leaders on budget allocation and pay-for-performance alignment. Conduct market research and compensation benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices. Monitor compensation trends and recommend enhancements to maintain market competitiveness and internal equity. Maintain expert knowledge of compensation-related laws and regulations, including FLSA, minimum wage requirements, and pay transparency legislation. Conduct compensation audits and internal reviews and support pay equity and transparency initiatives. Develop and maintain compensation-related policies and procedures to ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance across the organization. Partner with HRIS and IT teams to ensure compensation data accuracy, integrity, and system compliance. Analyze compensation data and prepare clear, actionable reporting and insights for leadership. Manage compensation survey participation and external vendor relationships. Lead compensation-related projects, including system enhancements, career frameworks, and organizational design support. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation analysis, strategy, and program management. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop strategic insights. Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate effectively across multiple functions. Deep knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations and compensation compliance standards. Advanced proficiency in Excel, compensation benchmarking tools, and HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
