The Goddard School is seeking a passionate, experienced, and highly motivated Director or Assistant Director to lead our school community and help create a nurturing, high-quality environment where children, families, and teachers thrive. Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and daily operational management of the school. Recruit, train, supervise, and support teaching and administrative staff. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. Maintain strong relationships with families and provide exceptional customer service. Oversee compliance with state licensing requirements and school policies. Support curriculum implementation and maintain high educational standards. Manage enrollment, staffing, scheduling, and school operations. Develop a positive school culture built on teamwork, professionalism, and respect. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and ownership. Monitor school performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Qualifications Previous leadership or management experience in early childhood education preferred. Strong knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting families.
