Job Description
A well-established, multi-facility skilled nursing organization is hiring a Corporate Director of MDS and Reimbursement to lead the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and reimbursement function across its family of facilities. This is a true corporate leadership seat: the Corporate Director of MDS and Reimbursement reports directly to the Clinical Vice President and owns the accuracy, timeliness, and financial performance of the MDS process organization-wide. Ownership here is hands-on and results-driven — they are bringing in a Corporate Director of MDS and Reimbursement specifically to drive stronger outcomes, and they will give the right person the authority and support to do it. Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting is required, and the ideal Corporate Director of MDS and Reimbursement has already led MDS and reimbursement at a regional or corporate level across multiple buildings. Compensation is in the $120,000 - $135,000 range, commensurate with experience. What You'll Do Oversee the MDS (Minimum Data Set) and reimbursement process across all facilities in the portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely assessment completion and transmission Drive case-mix and PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model) performance, identifying and correcting missed reimbursement opportunities Train, mentor, and support facility-level MDS Coordinators and interdisciplinary teams Audit assessments and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance Report reimbursement outcomes and trends to the Clinical Vice President and ownership Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license Strong MDS (Minimum Data Set) and reimbursement experience — multi-facility, regional, or corporate-level oversight strongly preferred Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting is required Deep working knowledge of PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model) and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement Compensation $120,000 - $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience Ready to Drive Better Outcomes?
