Scottsdale, Arizona (Hybrid) A growing third-party administrator (TPA) is seeking a Benefits Account Manager to support employer-sponsored health plans and serve as a key point of contact for client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who understands the mechanics of health benefits administration and enjoys working closely with clients to ensure a high level of service, accuracy, and responsiveness. In this position, you will manage a portfolio of employer groups, acting as the primary liaison between clients, brokers, and internal teams. You will help ensure smooth plan administration, resolve issues, and provide guidance on benefits-related questions while maintaining strong, long-term relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day service needs for a book of business consisting of self-funded employer health plans Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and broker partners, ensuring timely and professional communication Coordinate with internal departments including claims, eligibility, and customer service to resolve issues and ensure accurate plan administration Support open enrollment processes, plan implementations, and ongoing client education Review reports, monitor plan activity, and proactively identify opportunities to improve service delivery Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with plan provisions and administrative processes Qualifications 3+ years of experience in health benefits, preferably within a TPA, carrier, or brokerage environment Strong understanding of self-funded health plans and benefits administration Ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with benefits administration systems or reporting tools is a plus Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity for long-term growth within a stable and expanding organization This is a high-visibility role where you will directly impact client satisfaction and retention while working alongside a collaborative and experienced team in the health benefits space.
Salary:
