Reimbursement Support Specialist

Reimbursement Support Specialist $20-$22/hr | Orlando, FL | Hybrid We are hiring Support Specialists on behalf of our client to support patients, providers, pharmacies, and insurance payers in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong pharmacy or healthcare reimbursement experience who understand prior authorizations, pharmacy benefits, and payer interactions.

Must-Have Experience:

Pharmacy Technician, specialty pharmacy, PBM, reimbursement, or insurance experience Prior authorizations, appeals, and benefit investigations Working with commercial/government payers Understanding copays, deductibles, max out-of-pocket, accumulator/maximizer plans Experience explaining pharmacy benefits to patients/providers HIPAA and medical terminology knowledge

Preferred Backgrounds:

Specialty pharmacy PBM experience Insurance or reimbursement hub services Healthcare reimbursement/case management

Schedule Requirements:

Hybrid Schedule Must be available to work any shift between 8:00 AM-8:00 PM EST Flexibility is required, including possible overtime/weekends Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
