Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Authorization Account Manager to oversee the insurance authorization process for patient services. The ideal candidate will have experience working with insurance carriers, obtaining prior authorizations, managing accounts, and ensuring timely approvals while delivering excellent customer service to patients and patient facilities. Key Responsibilities Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage. Obtain, follow up, and manage patient authorizations. Communicate with insurance companies to resolve authorization issues. Identify process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce authorization delays. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance authorization Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care plans. Experience with verification platforms. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare software applications. Preferred Skills Experience handling prior authorizations across multiple specialties. Knowledge of insurance appeals and denial management. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

$48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
