- National Exempt Tax (NExT) role:
- Serve tax exempt clients in the Healthcare, Higher Ed, and Nonprofit industries in a high impact manner, demonstrating command of a major area of specialization.
- Demonstrate deep technical skills and have the above related industry knowledge.
- Excel at engagement management and operational excellence.
- Assist clients with meeting their tax and day to day compliance needs.
- Research and draft technical tax memoranda on various tax issues for clients.
- Review and sign a variety of exempt organization returns and serve as a subject matter expert when appropriate.
- Develop and mentor staff and oversee client engagement teams.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and/or professional services firm
- CPA required (JD or Enrolled Agent (EA) may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification)
- Experience specializing in tax exempt organizations preferred Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth.
- $300,000 The compensation range for this position in Maryland is $200,000
- $350,000 The compensation range for this position in New Jersey is $180,000
- $400,000 The compensation range for this position in New York is $340,000
