As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and team members. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate departments while following established access-control procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
