Evening and overnight shifts, including weekends and some holidays Scout Security is hiring Unarmed Security Specialists for concierge-style security assignments throughout the Denver area. This is a customer-service-focused security position where professionalism, communication, and creating a positive experience for clients, residents, guests, and visitors are just as important as maintaining a safe and secure property. Our security specialists serve as a professional presence on-site, assist residents and guests, monitor the property, identify safety concerns, respond to incidents, and communicate with clients and supervisors. Depending on the assignment, duties may include foot patrols, vehicle patrols, access monitoring, and other security responsibilities. A current security license or Guard Card is not required to apply. Licensing requirements will be based on the position and assignment, and Scout Security will provide required training and guidance through the onboarding process. We value reliability, sound judgment, professionalism, communication, accountability, and a willingness to learn and grow. Experience in security, hospitality, customer service, sales, military service, corrections, asset protection, property management, or team leadership is helpful. Responsibilities Provide a professional security and concierge presence at assigned properties. Welcome and professionally interact with residents, clients, guests, and visitors. Assist with general property-related questions and direct individuals to the appropriate resources when needed. Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols. Monitor assigned properties and identify safety, security, or maintenance concerns. Respond professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and challenging situations. Use appropriate communication and de-escalation techniques. Complete accurate patrol and incident reports. Follow post orders, site instructions, and company policies. Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, clients, and team members. Remain alert, professional, and accountable while working independently. Perform other security-related duties based on the assigned post. What We're Looking For Customer-service mindset with a professional and approachable demeanor. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Requirements Must meet applicable Colorado security licensing requirements for the assigned position. Ability to successfully complete required training. Ability to complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements, consistent with applicable law. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for positions involving company or patrol vehicles. This is an active security position and may involve extended periods of standing and walking, stairs, outdoor work, and frequent vehicle entry and exit.
