Pediatric Limb Lengthening Specialist Opportunity with International Center in Baltimore LBH Medical Group, an affiliate of
Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, LifeBridge Health Center:
Baltimore, MD Pediatic Limb Lengthening SurgeonJoin the International Center for Limb Lengthening (ICLL) at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, a premier group of surgeons specializing in Limb Reconstruction, Lengthening, Orthoplastics and Foot and Ankle Reconstruction. Seeking a BC/BE general orthopedic surgeon. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished surgeon, interested in providing care for pediatric patients with complex deformity as well as more common pathology. Experience in Hip Reconstruction including periacetabular osteotomies, femoral head reduction, and reconstruction of the congenital hip preferred.

Team consists of 5 board certified MD's; one DPM, and 6 APPsOrthopedic residents at Sinai Hospital rotate on pediatric limb reconstruction for their pediatric rotationOur facilities include an EOS Edge Scanner at the main hospital, long leg capabilities at all clinic locations, a state-of-the-art gait lab, and operating rooms dedicated to orthopedic surgeryPediatric patients are admitted to the Samuelson Pediatric Hospital, which maintains excellent facilities and high patient satisfactionAnesthesia support 24/7Teaching opportunities through the Baltimore Limb Deformity Course, Essentials of Lower Extremity Reconstruction Course, and mission tripsLifebridge Health Medical Group offers stability, excellent growth opportunities and competitive compensation with a base salary plus RVU incentives. The Save-A-Limb Fund helps optimize patient care for patients of the ICLL increasing access when financial barriers arise.

The Baltimore Limb Deformity Course is Entering its 34th year, and is the premier course for limb deformity educationIn conjunction with the LLRS, the ELER (Essentials of Lower Extremity Reconstruction) course is entering it s third year, and provides education to US residents and fellows.
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certified or Board Eligible in OrthopedicsAbility to successfully obtain Maryland Medical License without restrictionsCurrent or obtainable DEA certificate and CDS licenseNew graduates welcome to applyDemonstrate strong interest in working within an academic environment
