Security Officer - Gate & Patrol |
Site Leadership Opportunity Location:
Cameron, TX Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8-hour shift Exact shift times will be discussed during the interview.
Pay Rate:
$19.00-$21.50 per hour Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Security Officer with strong site-management experience to join our team in a gate and patrol role. This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional who is ready to take on a leadership-level presence on site while maintaining a high standard of security, professionalism, and customer service. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of site management experience and demonstrate the judgment, communication skills, and leadership ability needed to serve as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day security operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain a professional and highly visible security presence at the assigned site Monitor and control access through the facility gate Conduct routine patrols and monitor site activity Identify and appropriately respond to security, safety, or access-related concerns Serve as a dependable on-site resource for security-related matters Maintain accurate daily activity logs, reports, and required documentation Communicate effectively with site personnel, visitors, and management Follow and enforce established site security procedures Exercise sound judgment and leadership when addressing situations or incidents Help maintain consistent security standards throughout the assigned site Qualifications Current Texas Level II Security Officer License/Registration Valid Driver's License Minimum 3 years of site management experience Previous security leadership, supervisory, or site management experience strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Dependable attendance and a strong sense of responsibility Why This Opportunity?
