Overseeing and/or supporting informal EEO complaint processing activities by ensuring required steps, documentation, and timelines are met in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Providing guidance on formal EEO complaint processing to ensure compliance with 29 C.F.R. Part 1614 and
EEOC MD-110.
Analyzing complex or sensitive discrimination matters to identify issues, evaluate evidence, and support resolution strategies. Maintaining, securing, and managing EEO case files and sensitive documentation for informal and formal complaints to safeguard confidentiality and ensure records are complete and retrievable. Developing and maintaining complaint tracking and compliance monitoring systems to measure timeliness, improve business processes, identify trends, and support accurate reporting. EXPERIENCE
At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent) performing all the following duties: Managing or overseeing informal (pre-complaint) Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) processes, (i.e. counseling requirements, notification of rights, early conflict resolution, and use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to facilitate timely resolution); Processing formal EEO complaints, (i.e. evaluating issues and claims, making acceptance/dismissal determinations, and ensuring required notices and actions are completed in accordance with regulatory criteria and timelines); AND Conducting quality reviews of Reports of Investigation (ROIs) and other case materials to verify compliance with procedural requirements and readiness for next-stage processing. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
Education No Educational Substitution:

If you meet the minimum qualifications, you will be ranked in score order based on your assessment rating plus Veterans' preference points, as applicable, using the following referral mechanism: Cut-off Score (Assessment-Based): All applicants with a score of 85 or higher, including Veterans' preference points, will be referred to the hiring manager. This cut-off score was established based on job analysis findings and assessment development input to identify highly qualified candidates. Minimum Certification Requirement:
