Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department. This role assists with routine HR processes including employee record maintenance, onboarding coordination, document management, and general HR inquiries. The HR Assistant helps ensure HR operations run efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
  • Assist with onboarding processes including preparing new hire packets, scheduling orientation, and collecting required employment documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR databases to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with HRIS data entry and maintenance, including employee status changes, benefits enrollment documentation, and contact information updates.
  • Respond to routine HR-related inquiries from employees and direct more complex issues to appropriate HR staff.
  • Assist with tracking and filing of required employee certifications, licenses, and training documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities by posting job announcements, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with preparation of HR reports, spreadsheets, and internal communications.
  • Help coordinate employee events, training sessions, and staff meetings as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of personnel information and sensitive HR documentation.
  • Provide general clerical support including filing, scanning, and document preparation.
  • Perform other duties assigned to support HR operations.

Requirements:
1 year of administrative experience (Preferred) Proficient in all MS Office applications Excellent interpersonal communication skills Work is primarily office-based
  • This is a part-time position and is not eligible for benefits such as health insurance, 401 (k), and PTO accruals.

From $17.00 per hour
