The Human Resources (HR) Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR Manager, as well as coordinate HR-related activities and tasks. The successful candidate will be highly organized, reliable, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Human Resources (HR) Assistant Duties and Responsibilities Assist with recruitment activities, such as posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews Maintain personnel records and update employee information in the company Human Resources system Answer employee questions and provide guidance related to Human Resource policies and procedures Manage with onboarding and orientation of new employees Assist with employee benefits, such as health insurance and 401(k) plans Prepare and assist with payroll documents and process payroll in a timely manner Work with management to develop and implement human Resource policies and procedures Help to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Human Resources (HR) Assistant Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 1-2 years of administrative or HR experience preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered Spanish speaking preferred Prior experience in a Human Resource role Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration preferred Understanding of labor laws and regulations Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
