The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a qualified, highly organized Human Resources Management Support Specialist to provide executive-level administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Deputy CHRO. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who demonstrates strong initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to independently maintain efficient operations. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion when handling confidential matters, and effective administrative problem-solving. Strong organizational skills, analytical capabilities, and a commitment to customer service are essential for success in this role.Job Duties:
Gathers, analyzes and prepares reports on HR metrics Manages high level projects, special assignments and develops and maintains HR procedures Coordinates work projects, administrative matters and response between units and divisions Prepares HR reports and proposals and exercises discretion and independent judgment within ADCRR policies and procedures, Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) and ADCRR Department Orders as related to HR functions Provides administrative support to the Deputy CHRO and CHRO Responsible for tracking HR administrative services Manages department budget by maintaining accurate accounting records, processing purchase orders and streamlining procurement activities Serves as the ADCRR Travel Reduction Coordinator Serves as the Property Manager to track, process and record all capital property Drives on State business Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):Knowledge of:
