Job Description

Fondomonte is seeking a bilingual Human Resources Assistant to support our Vicksburg, Arizona operations. This position serves as the local HR representative for the site and receives ongoing guidance and support from the Corporate Human Resources team. The Human Resources Assistant supports recruiting, onboarding, payroll and timekeeping, benefits administration, employee relations, training, compliance, and general HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who wants to expand their experience and grow into an HR Supervisor role at the site. Essential Job Functions Serve as the local HR point of contact for employees, supervisors, and department managers. Review employee timecards and attendance records for completeness and accuracy. Provide payroll-related updates as needed. Prepare and maintain HR and office management reports, including attendance, vacation, organizational charts, and hours worked. Collect and submit time and attendance records for payroll processing. Assemble, prepare, and analyze HR data reports. Conduct pre-employment interviews and assist with the hiring process. Perform onboarding tasks, including completion of I-9 documentation and E-Verify processing. Administer skills assessments and score tests as required. Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation. Assist with the termination process, including documentation and check requests. Manage, maintain, and update employee records and status changes. Ensure all HR files and documentation comply with company standards and confidentiality requirements. Assist with benefit enrollments and respond to basic benefits-related questions. Maintain a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook. Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, copying, answering phones, and distributing mail. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail. Provide secretarial support, including formatting, entering, and printing information. Support local management and the HR team with daily operations and special projects. Assist with local trainings and employee events. Maintain employee confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Follow all organizational standards to ensure quality service. Qualifications At least one year of Human Resources or closely related administrative experience required; two years preferred. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required. Working knowledge of general HR practices and employment-related requirements preferred. Experience with an HRIS or payroll system preferred; Paycom experience is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to protect confidential information and exercise sound judgment. Ability to work flexible hours when operationally necessary Capable of working under pressure Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills. Hourly Rate:
