HR and Accounting Coordinator Hilton Scottsdale Resort and Villas Scottsdale, AZ Job Details Full-time $23 - $25 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Human Resources & Accounting Coordinator provides administrative support to the General Manager, Director of Human Resources, and Director of Finance. This position is responsible for supporting human resources, recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, vendor administration, and financial reporting activities. The role ensures accurate recordkeeping, compliance with company policies and procedures, and efficient support of daily hotel operations. Human Resources Responsibilities Maintain personnel files by scanning, uploading, and organizing employee documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Review employment applications, pre-screen candidates, forward qualified applicants to department leaders, and assist with onboarding process for all new hires. Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communication throughout the hiring process. Monitor and distribute training compliance reports. Prepare onboarding and New Hire Orientation materials and provide administrative support for employee onboarding activities. Provide administrative support including special projects, reporting, and operational initiatives. Accounting Responsibilities Process invoices ensuring accurate coding and timely submission for payment. Review and reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and coordinate resolution of outstanding invoices. Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activity, including vendor inquiries, collections follow-up, and payment processing. Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accrual reviews, reconciliations, financial reporting support, and audit preparation. Maintain vendor records, including W-9s, insurance certificates, vendor setup information, and annual 1099 preparation support. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. One to three (1-3) years of administrative, accounting, human resources, or hospitality experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of administrative, human resources, accounting, or hospitality experience preferred. Knowledge of basic human resources practices, including recruiting, onboarding, and personnel recordkeeping. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing. Experience with Microsoft Office and business software applications. Experience with HRIS, payroll, accounting, or hospitality systems preferred.
