The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of human resources management, payroll processing, and employee relations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to workforce management, benefits administration, and compliance initiatives within a dynamic organization. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proficiency with HR systems, and excellent communication abilities to foster a positive work environment. Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through HR systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro, and supporting onboarding activities like employee orientation and training programs. Process payroll accurately and efficiently using payroll systems, ensuring compliance with employment laws such as FMLA and workers' compensation regulations. Support benefits administration by managing employee enrollments, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. Maintain confidential personnel records and handle sensitive information with integrity while ensuring compliance with HR legal standards. Contribute to performance management initiatives by assisting with employee evaluations, goal setting, and succession planning activities. Support HR projects related to organizational design, change management, affirmative action planning, and workforce management strategies. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure regulatory compliance across employment law in talent management and labor law requirements. Utilize HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or Lever for data collection, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Experience Proven experience in an HR department role with a focus on personnel administration, payroll processing, and employee relations. Familiarity with human capital management (HCM) systems like Workday, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and HR legal compliance practices. Demonstrated ability in project management related to HR initiatives such as training & development programs or organizational restructuring. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel for data analysis—and experience working with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like Kenexa BrassRing or Taleo. Excellent communication skills combined with conflict management capabilities to foster positive employee relations. Experience handling benefits administration tasks including workers' compensation claims and regulatory compliance management is preferred.
