In this vital role, you will assist with a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth operations across talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance management. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive workplace environment, streamline HR processes, and contribute to strategic workforce planning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while making a meaningful impact within a vibrant organization. Duties Support talent acquisition efforts by assisting with HR sourcing, recruiting activities, and onboarding new employees through comprehensive employee orientation programs. Manage employee records accurately using HR systems such as HRIS platforms like Workday, Oracle HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards. Facilitate employee evaluation processes by coordinating performance management initiatives and assisting with training & development programs to enhance workforce skills. Administer benefits programs including benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and handling inquiries related to health insurance, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation, and other employee benefits. Assist in regulatory compliance management by supporting affirmative action planning, employment law adherence, OSHA regulations, and HR legal compliance initiatives. Contribute to project management tasks related to organization design, succession planning, and change management projects that align with strategic planning objectives. Handle employee relations issues with professionalism by supporting conflict management efforts and promoting positive communication across teams. Skills Strong knowledge of human capital management principles, employment & labor law, and HR legal compliance standards. Proficiency in HR systems such as Workday, UltiPro, Taleo, Lever, or Oracle HCM for data collection and personnel administration. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly and effectively. Demonstrated experience in recruiting strategies using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like Lever or Taleo to attract top talent. Skilled in Excel data analysis for payroll processing, workforce management metrics, and HR reporting purposes. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and experience supporting safety programs within an HR department setting.
