Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Human Resources Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will drive impactful HR initiatives across the organization. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, from talent acquisition and employee onboarding to benefits administration and compliance management. Your proactive approach will help foster a positive workplace environment, ensuring our workforce is engaged, well-informed, and aligned with strategic goals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in human capital management while making a meaningful difference in employees' lives. Duties Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as Kenexa BrassRing, Taleo, or Workday, and supporting recruitment campaigns. Coordinate employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are smoothly integrated into the organization. Support employee evaluation and performance management initiatives by collecting data, preparing reports, and facilitating communication between managers and staff. Manage benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation, and other employee benefits. Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data accuracy and generate Excel data analysis reports for workforce management and strategic planning purposes. Contribute to compliance efforts by assisting with employment law adherence, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and HR legal compliance documentation. Support HR projects related to organization design, succession planning, training & development programs, and change management initiatives. Experience Proven experience in an HR department or human resources management role with familiarity in employment & labor law and regulatory compliance management. Hands-on experience with HR systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, SAP SuccessFactors or Lever is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of payroll processing procedures alongside experience handling confidential information with integrity. Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools—especially Excel—for data collection and analysis. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage employee relations effectively and resolve conflicts professionally. Experience supporting recruiting efforts through ATS platforms like Kenexa BrassRing or Taleo is preferred. Knowledge of OSHA standards and experience with personnel administration enhances your suitability for this role. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
