Summary :
Support the company's growing HR function with primary responsibility for proactive recruiting and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline. This role will also help establish consistent HR practices across all seven locations, including onboarding, employee documentation, handbook administration, and performance-management support. Payroll processing and bonus calculations remain with accounting.Responsibilities:
Proactive recruiting: continuously build candidate pipelines for entry-level technicians, experienced/lead technicians, sales staff, store managers, and other key positions. Post and manage job openings on appropriate recruiting platforms and local channels. Review applications, conduct initial candidate screening, and identify candidates appropriate for interviews. Develop relationships with automotive schools, trade schools, community colleges, workforce programs, and other talent sources. Maintain an organized applicant tracking system and candidate database. Coordinate with the Operations Manager, who will conduct first- and second-round interviews and make hiring recommendations/selections.
Qualifications:
2-5+ years of practical HR, recruiting, staffing, or talent-acquisition experience preferred. Highly proactive and comfortable creating recruiting opportunities rather than simply waiting for applications. Strong organizational and follow-through skills. Professional communication skills and ability to work with store managers, technicians, salespeople, and applicants. Comfortable using recruiting/HR software and Microsoft or Google productivity tools. Automotive, tire, dealership, repair, or other skilled-trades recruiting experience is a plus. Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with employee information.Pay:
$30.00- $40.
