Job Description
Overview We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Full-Time HR & Payroll and Executive Assistant to oversee critical human resources and payroll operations within our alcoholic beverage industry, and administrative assistant to CFO. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and maintain best practices in compliance, employee relations, and payroll administration. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of industry-specific employment and licensing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
HR & Payroll Oversight Manage biweekly payroll with accuracy and legal compliance. Maintain and audit payroll records, with a focus on regulatory alignment at the federal and state levels. Management of employee benefits, including helping employees' SIMPLE IRA account setup with Fidelity. In charge of employee onboarding, offboarding, Health Benefits and maintenance of employee personnel files and documents. Monitor and manage leave balances, including PTO, sick time, and other forms of paid/unpaid leave. Ensure HR compliance with industry-specific regulations, and shift limitations. Serve as a primary resource for HR and payroll inquiries, offering clear guidance on company policies and employment practices. Support and coach managers, documenting performance issues, and assisting with corrective action when needed. Lead the annual review process and support the execution of cost-of-living adjustments or merit increases. Executive Support to CFO Provide administrative support to the CFO, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence. Prepare reports, presentations, and business documents and related filing and organizing such records. Maintain confidential records and assist with budgeting, reporting, and special projects. Coordinate communication with internal departments and external partners.Qualifications:
4+ years of progressive experience in HR and payroll, preferably in the alcoholic beverages, hospitality, or food & beverage industry. Strong knowledge of payroll platforms, especially Paychex Flex. Hands-on experience withSIMPLE IRA
plan administration; experience with Fidelity is a plus. In-depth understanding of employment law and wage compliance across local, state, and federal levels. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage priorities independently. Comfortable with excel and other basic software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly. HR or payroll certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, FPC) preferred.Pay:
