A Human Resources Clerk or Technician provides a variety of specialized clerical duties in support of HR services and programs within an organization or company. Processes requisitions to fill vacancies, posts job vacancies, coordinate and maintains relationships with recruiting agencies, monitors open posting activity and processes applications. May act as an advisor regarding HR policies and programs.

Requirements / Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent

AND:
  • Two (2) years of responsible clerical experience.
  • Knowledge of modern office practices, including computers and software.
  • Understand and interpret oral and written directions and instructions.
  • Two (2) recent letters of reference.
  • Keyboard neatly and accurately at least 35 wpm
  • (5-minute typing certificate).

An eligibility list will be in effect for 6 months or until fewer than 3 applicants remain on the list.
