POSITION SUMMARY PRO
  • ACT is seeking an organized HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team!
This individual will provide administrative and operational support across benefits administration, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees and supports HR programs that promote an exceptional employee experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administer employee benefit enrollments, status changes, qualifying life events and terminations in Paylocity and carrier systems.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and coordinate issue resolution with insurance carriers and vendors.
  • Support annual open enrollment activities, including employee communications, system updates, benefit elections, and reconciliation of enrollment records.
  • Maintain employee demographic and benefits data across HRIS, payroll, retirement, and vendor platforms.
  • Assist with payroll processing and audits, as needed
  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and provide candidate recommendations to hiring managers and the HR Director.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and employment verification activities.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience and successful integration into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in Paylocity and other HR systems
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including I-9 verification requirements
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, service anniversary celebrations, and engagement activities.
  • Assist with planning and logistics for employee meetings, training sessions, and special events

COMPENSATION RANGE
$25.00 - $30.00/hour About PRO

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field Minimum 2 years experience in an HR administrative role Experience with HR Systems Experience with MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively and exhibit excellent customer service Strong team player with the ability to flex as needed Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and manage multiple priorities.
